Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Saturday began the online registration process for first-year honours admission for the 2025–26 academic session.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan inaugurated the registration at 4:30pm in the council room of the administrative building, according to a press release signed by the acting director of the Public Relations Office, Mohammad Mahiuddin.
The Vice-Chancellor called on all concerned officials to ensure uninterrupted technical support so that applicants can complete their registration smoothly.
According to the admission authorities, candidates will be able to register online until 11:59pm on 7 December 2025.
Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Professor M Mahfuzur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Sohel Ahmed, Treasurer Professor M Abdur Rab, faculty deans, institute directors, acting registrar A B M Azizur Rahman and other officials were present at the inauguration.
The Institute of Information Technology (IIT), responsible for managing the registration system, has completed all necessary preparations to run the process efficiently.
