Two additional deputy commissioners and three assistant commissioners of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have been transferred and assigned new responsibilities.
The reassignments were issued on Thursday through two separate office orders signed by DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed.
According to the notifications, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sagar Dipa Biswas of POM-South Division has been posted to P&R HRD Division.
Meanwhile, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Arifa Ashraf Pinky has been assigned to POM-South Division.
In another order, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Mehedi Hasan Shakil of Traffic-Shahbagh Zone has been transferred to New Market Zone under Ramna Division.
Assistant Commissioner (AC) Md Nasim A-Gulshan of New Market Zone has been reassigned to the Illegal Arms Recovery and Narcotics Control Team of the Detective Branch (Wari Division).
Additionally, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Md Nadim Haider Chowdhury has been posted as the assistant commissioner for Shahbagh Zone under Traffic-Ramna Division.
The official orders added that the directives were issued in public interest and would take effect immediately.
