Dinesh Trivedi, High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh, presented his credentials to President Mohammed Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban on Thursday.
Trivedi was appointed India’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh on 27 April by India’s Ministry of External Affairs.
He served as Union Minister for Railways and Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare during the UPA government as a member of the Trinamool Congress. He resigned from the TMC on 12 February 2021 and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on 6 March 2021.
