Striking back after decades of failed traps, Wile E. Coyote is taking the Acme Corporation to court. Deadline reported Ketchup Entertainment released the final Coyote vs. Acme trailer ahead of its Saturday Comic-Con debut. Director Dave Green’s film survived a 2023 Warner Bros.

Discovery cancellation and $30 million tax write-off. Batgirl and Scoob! Holiday Haunt were also shelved during that period.

Ketchup Entertainment rescued the project in a deal valued at $50 million.

Based on Ian Frazier’s 1990 New Yorker article, the story follows solicitor Kevin Avery (Will Forte) challenging Acme’s faulty products. The cast features John Cena, Lana Condor, Tone Bell, Martha Kelly, and Luis Guzmán. Samy Burch, James Gunn, and Jeremy Slater wrote the story, with Chris DeFaria and Gunn producing. The film hits theatres on 28 August, with tickets now on sale
