Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has signed a strategic agreement with Software Shop Ltd to implement a digital trade platform titled “Easy Trade” to improve trade transaction management and regulatory reporting.
The agreement was signed at the bank’s head office in Dhaka, the bank said in a press release.
Community Bank Bangladesh PLC Managing Director Current Charge Kimiwa Saddat signed the agreement on behalf of the bank, while Software Shop Ltd Group Advisor Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury represented the technology firm.
Senior officials from both organisations attended the ceremony.
Under the agreement, the Easy Trade platform will support integrated and secure processing of trade transactions for Community Bank.
The system is expected to help the bank ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting while strengthening governance and compliance.
The bank said the initiative reflects efforts to expand digital capabilities and improve operational efficiency in trade finance services.
