City Bank along with Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Limited Bangladesh signed an agreement in Dhaka to extend employee banking services, bringing together the two banks’ expertise, resources and innovation, the banks said in a press release.
The signing ceremony took place at City Bank’s head office, where City Bank will provide employee banking services to HSBC Bangladesh under the partnership, marking the start of a formal collaboration between the institutions.
City Bank Chairman Hossain Khaled attended the event, alongside City Bank Managing Director and CEO Mashrur Arefin and HSBC Bangladesh CEO Md Mahbub ur Rahman, who signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
City Bank Additional Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, Chief Economist and Country Business Manager Md Ashanur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking Md Arup Haider, and Head of Employee Banking Hasan Uddin Ahmed were also present, along with other senior officials from both organisations.
