To make their treatment process smoother and information-driven, establishing direct communication between international hospitals, doctors, and experts with the local healthcare sector is essential.

The summit will facilitate these connections while offering avenues for quality improvement in medical services and the exchange of professional expertise.

Hospital representatives from China, Malaysia, India, and Thailand will participate in the summit.

Patients and their relatives will be able to speak directly with representatives of the participating hospitals to gain insights into healthcare services, available facilities, and treatment procedures.

The event will feature business networking meetings among hospital and healthcare representatives, panel discussions, and special sessions on future action plans for the healthcare sector.

Discussions will also take place regarding the establishment of bilateral relations at an international level.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Abdul Alim Raju, president of Chittagong Medical Travel Forum, said that since many patients from Chattogram go abroad for treatment each year, direct communication with foreign hospital representatives will allow patients to gather all necessary information.

The organisers expressed hope that the conference would deepen ties between Chattogram’s healthcare sector and global institutions, advancing local healthcare while making access to international-standard medical care easier and more transparent for patients.
