Four-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Camila Cabello and comedian-actor Langston Kerman have joined the cast of Cut Off, the upcoming Warner Bros. comedy directed by and starring Jonah Hill opposite Kristen Wiig, reports Deadline.
Written by Hill and Ezra Woods, the film follows a pair of wealthy siblings, played by Hill and Wiig, who suddenly find themselves cut off from their parents, portrayed by Bette Midler and Nathan Lane. The ensemble also includes Adriana Barraza.
Hill, who also co-wrote and directs, is producing alongside Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin under his Strong Baby banner. Jesse Ehrman and Zach Hamby are overseeing the project for Warner Bros., which is currently filming in California, ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on July 17, 2026.
Cabello, who rose to fame as part of Fifth Harmony before embarking on a successful solo career, continues to build her acting résumé. She previously starred in Kay Cannon’s Cinderella, voiced a role in DreamWorks’ Trolls Band Together, and appeared in Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Sundance drama Rob Peace.
Meanwhile, Langston Kerman, known for roles in Abbott Elementary, The Boys, and Insecure, recently released his first Netflix stand-up special Bad Poetry, directed by John Mulaney. He also co-created and starred in the Peacock comedy Bust Down, and has appeared in Bless This Mess, South Side, and Hulu’s The Other Black Girl.
Cut Off marks a star-studded blend of comedy, family dysfunction, and satire, all under the sharp direction of Hill, who returns behind the camera following his acclaimed work on Mid90s and Stutz.
