Ershad Ullah, the BNP-nominated candidate for Chattogram-8 constituency and convenor of the party’s city unit, has been transferred to Dhaka for advanced medical treatment.
He was airlifted to Square Hospital in Dhaka on Friday afternoon from Chattogram.
Chattogram City BNP Member Secretary Nazimur Rahman said Ershad sustained bullet injuries to his chest and leg during an election campaign. Although his condition is now stable, his family decided to move him to Dhaka for better treatment.
