Applicants for Class XI and technical education admissions for the 2026–27 academic year can now pay their application and registration fees through bKash, the mobile financial service said in a press release on 3 September. Online applications for colleges under the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education opened this year and close on 10 September, while applications to technical boards can be submitted until 18 September 2026; students selected in the first phase can then pay their registration fees via bKash to confirm admission.
To apply for Class XI, candidates must first register on https://xiclassadmission.gov.bd with the required details, then use the “Education Fee” section of the bKash app, selecting “XI Class Admission” and entering their board name, passing year, roll number and mobile number before confirming payment with their bKash PIN. Applicants to institutions under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board can similarly use the “Education Fee” option, selecting “BTEB” and entering a payment code combining the programme code, passing year, board code and roll number. In both cases, a successful transaction generates a confirmation message and a digital receipt, which applicants are advised to keep, after which they must complete their admission application on the relevant government website.
This year’s Class XI application fee, including other charges, has been set at Tk 220, with a registration fee of Tk 340; an additional Tk 3 online payment charge applies to both. For technical education, the application fee starts at a minimum of Tk 220, depending on the number and type of courses selected, while registration fees are set at Tk 238, Tk 375 and Tk 405.
Several colleges, including Notre Dame College and Holy Cross College, are also running their own independent admission systems, with application and admission fees payable through bKash; applicants have been advised to check individual college websites for details of their online admission procedures.
Applicants who pay their Class XI or technical admission application fees through bKash will also receive a Tk 50 discount coupon, redeemable once during the offer period at specific outlets against a minimum bKash payment of Tk 300.
