Bizzmakr, a growing freelancer-powered business solutions platform, organised a two-day Campus Activation Programme at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) on Sunday and Monday.
Held in collaboration with the IUB Programming Club (IUBPC), the initiative is part of Bizzmakr’s ongoing mission to assist young people in identifying, developing, and applying skills that unlock real-world opportunities, reads a press release.
Founded on a unique model where all contributors work as freelancers, Bizzmakr is committed to bridging the gap between academic learning and employability.
The programme aimed to equip students with practical insights and market-relevant skills to help them transform their passions into sustainable careers.
Throughout the two-day event, an activation booth remained open from 10am to 4pm, welcoming students, aspiring freelancers, and young entrepreneurs.
The booth served as a convergence point for students and businesses to connect, offering visitors a practical window into how they can monetise their existing skills through real-world projects and smart hiring opportunities.

On Monday the platform hosted an exclusive session titled “Skills to Success” at the DMK Lecture Gallery from 11am to 1pm.
The session featured four speakers with complementary expertise- Bizzmakr Founder and CEO ASM Rafiul Haque, who shared the vision behind the platform, Co-Founder and CMO Dilara Jahan Brishty, who discussed building sustainable careers through digital skills and consistency.
The other two are a certified Full Stack Digital Marketer and Top Rated Upwork Freelancer Ibrahim Niloy, who provided insights on succeeding on global platforms, and a Video Editor and Creative Consultant Saif Shaon, who spoke about carving a niche in the creative freelance economy.
The IUB event is the latest in a series of youth engagement efforts by Bizzmakr, which has previously organised similar programmes at the National Youth Festival at BRAC University, Flow Fest at Gulshan Club, and JUST CAP at Jashore University of Science and Technology.
Speaking on the initiative, ASM Rafiul Haque, Founder and CEO of Bizzmakr, said the programmes are designed to show Bangladesh’s brightest young minds that their skills have real market value.
“Our Campus Activation Programmes are not about telling students to pick up freelancing as a side hustle; they are about showing that building a sustainable, full-fledged career in the digital economy is entirely within their reach,” he said.
He further emphasised the need for youth to move beyond academic learning to develop practical capabilities that create economic opportunities.
As the digital economy in Bangladesh continues to expand, Bizzmakr aims to play a significant role in preparing the next generation of professionals by fostering career readiness and a culture of continuous learning.
