BDStall has allowed entrepreneurs to open online stalls free of charge and sell products without paying commission since June 2026, seeking to reduce the registration and transaction costs that often discourage small businesses from entering e-commerce.
Sellers can use the domestic hybrid marketplace to offer new or used products to around 1.2 million monthly buyers, according to the company, but must submit a National Identity card and a valid trade licence to register.
Unlike marketplaces that deduct a share from each transaction, BDStall allows sellers to retain the full value of their sales without any platform commission, the company said in a press release.
The model is intended to ease the initial financial pressure on entrepreneurs who may be unable to afford large start-up investments or recurring monthly expenses.
Businesses selling PC components, food and beverages, health and beauty products, gym equipment, lifestyle goods, gadgets and other consumer products can use the platform as an online sales channel without additional costs.
“We want small entrepreneurs to be able to take their businesses online without facing any financial pressure,” said Muhammad Kamal Hossain, Chief Executive Officer of BDStall.
BDStall said its instant price comparison feature allows customers to view prices offered by multiple sellers side by side before making a decision, providing an advantage to vendors offering competitive prices.
The platform combines e-commerce and classified selling models, enabling companies to sell new products while allowing individuals to list used goods.
Interested sellers can open a stall and begin selling through bdstall.com. The registration process has been kept simple so that people with limited technological experience can establish an online presence.
