The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed deep shock and grief over the death of a Bangladeshi national, Md Sojib Hossain, in Saudi Arabia.
Sojib Hossain, a resident of Comilla district, died on Sunday after a missile or drone launched by the Houthis struck an Aramco facility in Al Khurais area of Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
In a press release, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned such attacks and extended its sincere condolences to the bereaved family members and relatives of the deceased.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia has already contacted the family members and the employer of the deceased to provide all necessary cooperation.
The embassy is currently making necessary coordination with the relevant Saudi authorities regarding the completion of official procedures for his mortal remains and sending them back home to Bangladesh.
