Barcelona and Real Madrid will meet once again in El Clásico during the 2025–26 season, with the Spanish Super Cup final taking place at King Abdullah Sports City in Saudi Arabia tonight. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:00 am Bangladesh time, with fans from around the world gathered in Jeddah to witness the match.
Ahead of the Super Clásico, members of Real Madrid fan clubs from various countries met club president Florentino Pérez at the Hilton Hotel in Jeddah. Representatives from Bangladesh attended as part of ‘Peña Madridista Bangladesh’.
The Bangladeshi fans presented Pérez with a red-and-green jersey and a framed, hand-stitched nakshi kantha, a traditional craft from Bangladesh. While photographs with the jersey were not allowed, Pérez warmly accepted the nakshi kantha and thanked the fan club for the gift.
The event began with introductions and concluded with a photo session with Pérez. Fan club presidents were seated in the front row, and a documentary showcasing Real Madrid’s supporters from around the world was screened on a giant display, with Bangladeshi fans receiving special attention.
At the end of the programme, the visiting supporters formally presented their gifts, marking a memorable occasion ahead of the much-anticipated match.
