Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, is back in the spotlight after a video of him avoiding photographers at a Mumbai hotel began circulating on social media.

On Monday night, Aryan arrived at a luxury hotel in the city to attend the birthday party of Sohail Khan’s son, Nirvaan Khan. As he reached the venue with two friends, paparazzi who were waiting outside quickly gathered at the entrance.

In the viral clip, Aryan’s friends are seen stepping out of the car first as photographers begin taking pictures. A security guard can be heard urging them to move quickly, saying, “Come on, come on, it’s too late.” Moments later, Aryan exits the vehicle, keeps his head lowered and swiftly walks into the hotel without acknowledging the cameras.

While star children avoiding the paparazzi is nothing new, Aryan’s behaviour on this occasion has sparked fresh curiosity online. Several social media users have questioned whether his reluctance to face cameras is linked to a recent controversy involving him.

Aryan spent over a month in jail in November 2021 following his arrest in a drug-related case linked to a cruise ship, before being granted bail. Even after making his debut as a producer with ‘The Ba**ds of Bollywood’, he has continued to attract attention. Most recently, he was accused of inappropriate behaviour at a nightclub in Bengaluru, with a lawyer filing a complaint with the city’s police commissioner and the Karnataka State Women’s Commission.

Despite the controversy, Aryan was recently seen appearing relaxed and interacting with photographers during a visit to Kolkata, where he was spotted chatting with Tollywood actress Trina Saha. His sudden rush to avoid cameras at the Mumbai event has therefore raised questions among fans and social media users alike.
