Mystery spinner Aliss Al Islam has earned a place in Bangladesh’s ODI squad for the upcoming tri-nation series against Afghanistan and Zimbabwe in the UAE.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the 16-member squad on Saturday, with Litton Das set to lead the side and Tawhid Hridoy named his deputy.

Aliss’ inclusion is one of the major talking points of the squad. The mystery spinner adds another spin option to a bowling attack that already includes Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Rishad Hossain and Tanvir Islam.
