Abul Khair Steel (AKS), Bangladesh’s largest steel producer by production capacity, organised a grand celebration for its employees titled ‘AKS-Eksathe Agameer Pothe’ on 6 December, highlighting innovation, success, and the people behind it.
The day-long event began with registration and a warm welcome by the emcee, followed by prayers and a lunch break.
Department heads delivered motivational speeches reflecting on AKS’s milestones, including the launch of the country’s strongest rebar, AKS TMT B700C-R, the introduction of the world’s fastest rolling mill, and recognition through prestigious Superbrands Awards for AKS and Cow Brand Colour Coated Steel, according to a press release.
The evening featured a lively cultural programme, including a performance by legendary singer James, a spectacular laser show, and a raffle draw.
The celebration concluded with a closing speech, dinner, and a DJ performance, as AKS expressed gratitude to its employees for their presence and active participation throughout the event.
