AKIJ Cables launched showrooms at eight locations across Bangladesh on 3 October as Akij Electric and Electronics Limited seeks to expand the brand’s sales and distribution network to give customers and business partners easier access to its electrical products and services.

The first-phase outlets began operations in Mirpur, Nababpur, Cumilla, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Madaripur, Khulna and Barishal, the company said in a press release. As part of the nationwide initiative, the Mirpur showroom was formally inaugurated at 11:00am on 4 October by Sheikh Shamim Uddin, Chairman of Akij Venture Group.

Akij Electric and Electronics Limited, a concern of Akij Venture Group, launched the outlets under its “A Safer Tomorrow” commitment as it seeks to strengthen AKIJ Cables’ presence in key electrical markets across the country.

Senior company officials, business partners, retailers, electricians and invited guests attended the Mirpur inauguration.

Through this initiative, we aim to further strengthen the presence of AKIJ Cables in key electrical markets across the country while delivering safe and reliable electrical solutions to our customers,” said Mohammad Maidul Islam, Business Head of Akij Electric and Electronics Limited.

“The new showrooms will allow customers to explore AKIJ Cables products firsthand, learn about their features and applications, and select the right products according to their needs,” he said.

The company said the showroom expansion was also aimed at strengthening direct connections with customers, retailers, electricians and other business partners.

AKIJ Cables said its broader objective was to expand its sales and distribution network while providing what it described as safe and reliable electrical solutions for homes and establishments under its “A Safer Tomorrow” commitment.
