Attorney General Md Ruhul Quddus Kazal has instructed Deputy Attorney Generals and Assistant Attorney Generals not to influence any cases in courts other than those assigned to their official jurisdiction.
The directive came through an urgent notice issued on Wednesday signed by administrative officer Md Nasir Uddin of the Attorney General’s Office.
The notice mentioned, the Attorney General has observed that some Deputy Attorney Generals and Assistant Attorney Generals working in different courts are leaving their assigned courts during proceedings and attempting to influence other cases in different courts.
It instructed all concerned not to attend any court other than their designated court during working hours.
