Rural Savings Bank successfully held its second Risk Management Committee meeting today at the bank’s head office in Dhaka. The meeting aimed to discuss key decisions related to enhancing the bank’s risk management and business operations.

The meeting was chaired by Sardar Md Keramat Ali, the respected director of the board, additional secretary, and director general of Bangladesh Rural Development Bank. His leadership guided a productive and insightful discussion throughout the session.
The meeting was attended by members of the Risk Management Committee and the board of directors, including

Nur Alam Talukdar, Director and Managing Director of Bangladesh Student Welfare Trust, and Mohammad Forhadul Islam Bhuiyan, Director, Managing Director, and Editor of Daily Liberation. These prominent figures, alongside other committee members, contributed valuable perspectives during the meeting.

A major focus of the meeting was the bank’s performance and its goals for the 2025-26 fiscal year. The committee thoroughly reviewed the bank’s key performance indicators and discussed the strategic measures necessary for achieving these targets. Special attention was given to improving the bank’s risk management strategies and ensuring steady business growth.
