WhatsApp Web users are facing a bug that disrupts the smooth scrolling of chat lists, making it difficult to browse conversations. Numerous users have taken to social media to express their frustration with the problem.
The issue, which emerged on Tuesday, seems to be confined to the web version, while the mobile app continues to function as expected. WhatsApp Web is synchronized with the mobile app via the Linked Devices feature.
However, not all users are impacted by this problem. Many have confirmed the same issue, with some suggesting that it could be connected to the use of emojis and stickers within chats.
This glitch followed a brief outage on WhatsApp, adding to the growing frustration among users. To date, Meta has not provided an official response or timeline for when the issue will be resolved.
In the meantime, users will need to wait for WhatsApp to release an update that will restore the platform to its usual functionality.
