A total of 230 trail court judges have been transferred simultaneously across 19 districts, including Dhaka.
Among those transferred are 41 district judges, 53 additional district and sessions judges, 40 joint district and sessions judges, and 96 senior assistant judges and assistant judge level officers.
The transfers were ordered through four separate notifications issued on Monday by the Law and Justice Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
According to the notification, the transferred district and sessions judges have been directed to hand over their current responsibilities and report to their new postings by August 28.
