Training sessions focused on election duties have commenced for members of Ansar and the Village Defence Party (VDP) in districts and upazilas across Bangladesh.

According to the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing, these sessions are being coordinated alongside the ongoing 28-day VDP Advanced Course.

The course now includes critical modules tailored specifically for election responsibilities, reports UNB.

Participants are being trained in key election-related tasks such as managing polling stations, ensuring voter assistance, maintaining order, and safeguarding electoral materials like ballots and boxes.

The programme aims to equip them with the necessary skills for effective performance on election day.
