The 11-party alliance, led by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, will hold a Rangpur divisional rally on Saturday to press for implementation of the referendum verdict and effective steps for the Teesta Master Plan.
The alliance will also demand an end to border killings and push-ins, along with measures to reduce public suffering.
The rally will begin at 2:30pm at Rangpur District School Ground, AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad, coordinator of the alliance, said in a statement issued on Friday.
Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman will attend the rally as the chief guest, while leaders of the alliance partners will also address the gathering.
National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener and Opposition Chief Whip Nahid Islam will chair the event.
