Gazipur, Nilphamari, Tangail and Sylhet — Electronics manufacturer Walton Hi-Tech Industries has distributed free refrigerators, televisions and other products to 27 customers who made purchases under its ongoing Digital Campaign Season-23.
The recipients received their gifts at separate events held recently in the four districts. Popular film actor Amin Khan, who serves as senior executive director at Walton, formally handed over the products to the customers.
In Gazipur, four customers received gifts. Md Roknuzzaman, Musabbir Rahman and Md Masud each received a side-by-side refrigerator and freezer. Jannatul Mawa, who purchased a 32-inch television, received a 42-inch television as a gift.
Nine customers in Nilphamari received free refrigerators after purchasing one: Mosammat Rita, Soleman Ali, Md Ratan Mia, Mosammat Monowara Begum, Bulu Kumar Ray, Md Mozadul Islam, Rahul Nandi Ratul, Sazzad Hossain and Mojidul Islam.
Five customers in Tangail — Md Jalil, Md Shamim, Siddiq Mandal, Humayun Kabir and Md Shahjahan Khan — each received a free refrigerator following their purchase.
In Sylhet, recipients included Mahbub Alam, Motia Begum, Ajir Ali, Amit, Zakir Mia and representatives from Lakshipur Central Jam-e-Mosque. Zakir Mia received a free television after purchasing one.
Walton launched Digital Campaign Season-23 on 25 November 2025, offering customers who register their purchases the chance to receive free products and cash vouchers worth tens of lakhs of taka. Buyers purchasing from Walton Plaza outlets, distributor showrooms or online platform e-Plaza receive guaranteed gifts and can win additional products including side-by-side refrigerators, air conditioners, televisions, washing machines and ovens.
The campaign runs until Eid-ul-Fitr, with Walton authorities handing over gifts to numerous customers across the country daily.
“Walton is manufacturing products according to the needs of ordinary people,” Khan said. “Products made in the country have reached the international market. Walton products are being exported to more than 55 countries worldwide.”
