The sounds of explosions continue to be heard across Iran, Israel, and several other Middle Eastern countries for the 19th consecutive day. The conflict, which began on 28 February with Israeli-US attacks on Iran, shows no signs of stopping.
On Wednesday, Israel claimed that Iran launched numerous missiles. Iran also alleged that its natural gas fields were attacked.
Iran had previously warned that if it were attacked, it would target US military installations throughout the region, which it considers legitimate targets.
Consequently, the death toll from the conflict is rising daily. Many people are being injured, a large proportion of whom are children. Hundreds of structures are being damaged, and homes and families are being destroyed.
Al Jazeera has created a live tracker to publish the numbers of injured and killed in this conflict.
According to this tracker, as of 6:30pm Bangladesh time, 1,444 people have been killed in Iran since the conflict began.
During this period, 912 have lost their lives in Lebanon, 58 in Iraq, six in Kuwait, two in Bahrain, eight in the United Arab Emirates, two in Saudi Arabia, and three in Oman.
Additionally, the death toll in Israel stands at 17, and at least 13 members of the US military have been killed.
