Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus arrived at Manik Mia Avenue to attend the funeral prayers of former prime minister and BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Wednesday.
Chief Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury also attended the state funeral.
The chiefs of the armed forces — Army Chief General Waker-uz-Zaman, Navy Chief Admiral M Nazmul Hassan, and Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan attended the funeral prayer which is being conducted by Khatib Mufti Abdul Malik of National Mosque Baitul Mokarram.
