The Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) in Dhaka will close early at 2pm on Wednesday due to the prevailing security situation.
In a notice, the IVAC said the visa application centre at Jamuna Future Park will suspend operations for the rest of the day considering security concerns.
The development came after July Oikya announced a “March to the Indian High Commission” around 3pm at Rampura Bridge.
All applicants who had appointments scheduled for submission on Wednesday will receive new dates, which will be communicated later, the IVAC said.
The IVAC at Jamuna Future Park serves as the main integrated hub for Indian visa-related services in the capital, handling applications from Dhaka and surrounding areas.
