Chief Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury has constituted 63 benches in the High Court Division of the Supreme Court for the conduct of judicial proceedings.
A notification containing the Chief Justice’s directive was published on the Supreme Court’s official website on Thursday.
According to the notification, the newly formed benches will begin hearing cases from 19 April. Full-scale judicial proceedings are scheduled to commence at 10:30am on the same day.
The formation of the benches is aimed at ensuring the smooth disposal of pending cases and maintaining the regular functioning of the High Court Division.
