The Bangladesh Bar Council has published the results of the written examination for obtaining permission to practice in the High Court Division of the Supreme Court.
In a notification signed on Tuesday by Bar Council Secretary Mohammad Kamal Hossain Sikder, it was stated that a total of 1,313 candidates have successfully passed the written examination.
The successful candidates will now be required to appear before the Enrolment Committee for the next stage of the process, the viva voce (oral examination).
According to the notice, the written examination was held on 24 October, 2025.
Out of all examinees, 1,313 lawyers have been declared successful.
The results of 419 candidates have been kept pending for review by a third examiner.
In addition, the results of 24 candidates are pending scrutiny for re-evaluation.
