Drama production company CMV has reached a major milestone, with 100 of its plays crossing the crore-views mark. The company announced the achievement in a press release on Wednesday, October 8.

SK Shahed Ali Pappu, head of CMV, said that this week the production house achieved its century of crore views, thanks to the play ‘Spy Love’, directed by Rubel Hasan.

He expressed gratitude to the audience and acknowledged the contributions of the entire drama industry, noting that nearly all artists and craftsmen were involved in these 100 productions.

Among the producers whose plays have hit the crore-view mark, 16 plays were directed by Rubel Hasan, 12 by Zakaria Soukhin and eight each by Mifta Anan and Mohidul Mohim.

Other notable producers on the list include Shihab Shahin, Taufiqul Islam, Imraul Rafat, Mizanur Rahman Aryan, Mashrikul Alam and Probir Roy Chowdhury.

The actors contributing to this milestone include Ziaul Faruq Apurba (18 plays), Farhan Ahmed Jovan (26 plays), Musfiq R Farhan (19 plays) and Tausif Mahbub (14 plays). The list also features Mosharraf Karim, Afran Nisho, Yash Rohan and Niloy Alamgir.

On the actresses’ side, Mehzabeen Chowdhury starred in 14 plays, Keya Payel in 18, Tanjin Tisha in 16, Tanjim Sayara Tatini in 15 and Naznin Niha in 12. Other notable names include Sabila Noor, Tasnia Farin and Sadia Ayman.

CMV’s milestone highlights the growing popularity of Bangladeshi drama productions and the collaborative effort of artists, directors and producers across the industry.
