Zendaya has been turning heads on the international promotional tour for ‘The Drama’, showing off outfits that nod to the classic bridal rhyme of something old, something new, something borrowed. The film, opening Friday, follows a Boston couple whose wedding plans are upended by a dark secret.

In Los Angeles on March 17, Zendaya revisited a white Vivienne Westwood gown she first wore to the 2015 Oscars, marking her “something old”, as stylist Law Roach shared on Instagram. For the Paris premiere on March 24, she donned a new custom white Louis Vuitton gown with a dramatic black bow and cascading train. Two days later in Rome, she wore a black Armani Privé dress previously seen on Cate Blanchett, representing “something borrowed”.

Hints at “something blue” may have appeared in a flowing floral Alexander McQueen dress worn on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on March 16, though fans expect the star to make the colour more prominent soon.

Zendaya’s wedding-inspired style tour has sparked playful speculation about her personal life, particularly her reported relationship with Tom Holland.
