The three-day esports tournament “Goal Battles – Football Gaming Championship” concluded at Centrepoint, Uttara, on Saturday, with Zayed Ul Haque emerging as the champion.
Organised by Playard in collaboration with Arrobat, the competition brought together more than 200 football gaming enthusiasts from across the country, reads a press release.
In a high-intensity grand finale, Zayed Ul Haque defeated Faiyazul Islam Rimon, who finished as the runner-up.
The championship, which ran from Thursday Saturday, featured 64 teams, with each team comprising three players. The tournament followed a competitive elimination format, where players competed in the group stage before advancing through the Round of 64, Round of 32, Round of 16, quarter-finals, and semi-finals.
Throughout the event, Centrepoint served as a vibrant destination for gamers and spectators alike, celebrating the rapid growth of the gaming community in Bangladesh.
The platform allowed players, brands, and fans to come together to experience the excitement of competitive football gaming while showcasing exceptional sportsmanship.
