Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus held a meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly(UNGA) at the UN Headquarters in New York on Wednesday.
The discussions between the two leaders covered various topics, including the upcoming general elections in Bangladesh, the reforms introduced by the interim government, the recent severe flooding in Pakistan, as well as potential opportunities for trade, investment, and regional collaboration.
Also present at the meeting were National Security Adviser Dr Khalilur Rahman, Principal Secretary Siraj Uddin Miah, and SDG Coordinator Lamiya Morshed.
