According to Israeli media reports on Monday, Iran has presented five conditions to reach a ceasefire agreement with the United States in the ongoing war, which began in late February.
According to a Channel 12 report, Iran has put forward formal demands as part of the indirect negotiations announced by US President Donald Trump to resolve the conflict. Quoting an Iranian official, the report outlined Iran’s conditions for ending the war:

Strong guarantees must be provided that the war will never resume.

All US military bases in West Asia (the Middle East) must be closed.

The United States and Israel must pay full compensation for all damages Iran has suffered due to the war.

A new legal framework must be established for the Strait of Hormuz, effectively placing the area under Iranian control.

Individuals associated with “hostile media” against Iran must be handed over to Iranian authorities or brought to justice.
Meanwhile, Middle East Eye reported an additional condition: the United States and Israel must cease all warfare in the region, including hostilities against Iran-backed armed groups.
Earlier on Monday, Trump stated that Washington had been negotiating with Iran for some time and that “they (Iran) are now taking it quite seriously.”
Speaking at an event in Tennessee, Trump added, “This has been made possible because of the extraordinary capabilities of our military forces. We hope an agreement can be reached. But whatever happens, we will ensure that Iran never develops nuclear weapons.”
Concluding his remarks, Trump said, “Iran now has another opportunity to cease its threats against the United States and our allies. We hope they will take it. In any case, the United States and the world will be safer, and our world will be more stable.”
