Westin Dhaka has launched a FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign at its Splash restaurant, inviting football fans to watch the remainder of the tournament live on a giant screen while enjoying food, beverages and a match-day atmosphere.
The campaign was inaugurated on 11 June at Splash in the hotel and attended by Marcelo Carlos Sessa, Ambassador of Argentina to Bangladesh; Bouchaib Ez-zahri, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Morocco; Gary Farstad, General Manager of The Westin Dhaka; senior hotel officials; and members of the media, the hotel said in a press release.
The hotel said Splash will screen every match from the opening fixture through to the Grand Final, offering football enthusiasts a venue to follow the tournament with family, friends and fellow supporters.
With the group stage completed, the tournament has entered the knockout stage featuring 32 teams: Mexico, South Africa, Switzerland, Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Morocco, the United States, Australia, Paraguay, Germany, Côte d’Ivoire, Ecuador, the Netherlands, Japan, Sweden, Belgium, Egypt, Spain, Cape Verde, France, Norway, Senegal, Argentina, Austria, Algeria, Colombia, Portugal, DR Congo, England, Croatia and Ghana.
The hotel said guests will be able to enjoy signature culinary offerings, refreshing beverages and a lively match-day atmosphere throughout the knockout rounds and the final.
Westin Dhaka encouraged football fans to gather with friends and family at Splash to experience what it described as the world’s biggest football celebration.
