The new range includes AI-enabled top-loading washing machines, the 8kg WWM-ATT80 and 9kg WWM-ATT90, which can automatically detect the type and weight of clothes and select the most appropriate wash settings, ensuring hassle-free operation.
Additionally, the lineup includes front-loading stain wash models WWM-AFB80 and WWM-AFB90 with 8kg and 9kg capacities, an 8kg steam wash model WWM-AFD80, and a 12kg washer-dryer combo WWM-AFC12M.
The WWM-AFD80 and WWM-AFC12M models are equipped with inverter and direct-drive motors, which improve energy efficiency, reduce noise, and ensure longer-lasting performance. The models were unveiled at an event held at Walton’s Corporate Office in Dhaka on 12 May.
Walton Home and Kitchen Appliance Chief Business Officer (CBO) Abdullah Al-Zunaid, along with actress and Walton brand ambassador Jaya Ahsan, revealed the new models at the event. Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Zoheb Ahmed and other senior officials also attended.
Zoheb Ahmed said the new models were designed to meet the growing demand for smart home appliances, reflecting evolving modern lifestyles. He expressed optimism that the models would add a new dimension to the washing machine market in Bangladesh.
Jaya Ahsan highlighted Walton’s commitment to integrating advanced technologies into its products, noting the growing popularity of Walton washing machines both locally and internationally. Walton products are now exported to over 55 countries across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and America, Ahsan added.
Abdullah Al-Zunaid said the European-standard washing machines combine elegant designs with energy-efficient inverter and BLDC motors, ensuring quieter operation and durable performance. Selected models feature washer-dryer technology, enabling users to wash and dry clothes in one machine, offering a faster and more efficient laundry solution.
At the event, Walton also showcased its world-class washing machine manufacturing plant in Gazipur, which produces over 30 models of automatic and semi-automatic washing machines, as well as commercial washing machines adhering to European energy standards. Walton’s washing machines feature multiple washing motions that clean clothes effectively while minimising damage. They are also equipped with touch-screen panels and durable stainless-steel components, ensuring enhanced longevity and user convenience.
