Walton, the global electronics giant, has awarded TK10 lakh each to three customers from different districts as part of its ongoing Digital Campaign Season-24. The winners are Suprokash Chakma, a retired senior officer of Sonali Bank from Bandarban, Kuddus Howlader, a daily wage labourer from Fakirhat, Bagerhat, and Tahmina Akter, a housewife and school teacher from Narsingdi. Suprokash Chakma and Kuddus Howlader won after purchasing a fridge, while Tahmina Akter claimed her prize after buying an air conditioner.
The prize cheques were presented at separate events in May and April 2026. Suprokash Chakma received his cheque on May 6, during a ceremony at the Mukto Mancha in Bandarban city. Tahmina Akter was awarded her prize on May 4 at the municipal Eidgah ground in Narsingdi, and Kuddus Howlader received his cheque on April 26 at Walton Plaza in Fakirhat Bazar. Walton’s Senior Executive Director, actor Amin Khan, and national cricket team pacer Taskin Ahmed handed over the cheques at all three events.
The prizes were awarded as part of Walton’s ongoing Digital Campaign Season-24, launched ahead of the Eid-ul-Azha festival. This follows previous seasons of the campaign, where 50 other customers won similar prizes by purchasing Walton products.
Suprokash Chakma purchased a 145-litre fridge for 28,000 Taka at Walton’s Eastern Agency showroom in Bandarban on 16 April 2026. After completing the digital registration process, he received a mobile notification confirming his prize. Similarly, Tahmina Akter bought a 1.5-ton air conditioner worth Tk66,300 from Walton Plaza in Narsingdi on 21 April 2026, and after registration, received a message about her 10 lakh Taka reward. Kuddus Howlader bought a fridge worth Tk42,690 from Walton Plaza in Fakirhat on 16 April 2026, and also won the prize after completing his digital registration.
Suprokash Chakma expressed his joy, saying, “I’ve bought many lottery tickets and prize bonds in my life but never won anything. I never imagined buying a fridge would result in such a large reward. I will use the money for my family’s needs.” Tahmina Akter shared, “I never thought buying an air conditioner would bring such a big prize. It’s an unbelievable moment for me, and this money will greatly benefit my family. I thank everyone at Walton for this opportunity.”
