With only days remaining before their wedding in Udaipur, actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have given fans a glimpse of their pre-wedding celebrations on social media.
The couple are set to marry on February 26 at a luxurious palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Their recent posts indicate that festivities are already well under way.
On Monday, Vijay shared an Instagram story showing a relaxed poolside gathering. A volleyball net stretched across the water, with a ball caught mid-air and splashes rising from the pool, captured the spirit of a lively afternoon with friends. Red cups arranged on drink trays and the palace greenery in the background added to the festive atmosphere.
Rashmika, meanwhile, showcased a more intimate setting. She posted photographs of an elegantly arranged dinner, featuring a long table lit with warm golden lights. Pink lilies and green hydrangeas formed the centrepiece, complemented by neatly arranged green apples and grapes. A specially printed menu revealed that guests were served a Japanese dinner, while napkins embroidered with the name ‘Birosh’ added a personal touch.
Birosh is a combination of the couple’s names which was coined by fans. In a joint Instagram message on Sunday, they acknowledged the gesture, noting that fans had given them a name even before they had planned it themselves.
The soon-to-be-married couple announced that they would call their union “The Wedding of Birosh” in tribute to that affection. The post quickly gained traction online.
Vijay-Rashmika reportedly exchanged rings in a private ceremony in Hyderabad on October 3 last year. Speculation about their relationship has persisted since they starred together in ‘Geetha Govindam’ in 2018 and ‘Dear Comrade’ in 2019. Although they have never publicly confirmed their romance, regular appearances together and shared holidays have fuelled rumours.
The wedding ceremony in Udaipur will be held in the presence of close friends and family, followed by a separate reception in Hyderabad for colleagues from the film industry.
