In observance of World Blood Donor Day, US-Bangla Airlines, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation, will organise a voluntary blood donation campaign next Sunday at its corporate office in Uttara, Dhaka.

The initiative aims to promote humanitarian values, social awareness and active participation in life-saving voluntary services, reads a press release.

Employees from various departments of US-Bangla Airlines have been invited to take part in the programme and contribute to the cause.

As part of the campaign, an awareness seminar will be held from 10am to 11am.

Representatives from the US-Bangla Airlines Medical Service Team and the Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation will discuss the importance of blood donation, the need to ensure a safe blood supply, the critical requirement for regular blood donations for thalassaemia patients, and ways to increase public awareness on these issues.

Following the seminar, the voluntary blood donation drive will be conducted from 11am to 4pm.

Through the initiative, employees of US-Bangla Airlines are expected to demonstrate their commitment to humanitarian service and social responsibility.

US-Bangla Airlines believes that regular voluntary blood donation not only saves lives but also plays a vital role in building a compassionate, caring and responsible society.
