Rajshahi Division’s fourth-round National Cricket League fixture against Dhaka Division ended in a draw, with centuries from Tanzid Hasan and Pritom Kumar shaping the final day’s play.

Resuming on 84 and 40 respectively, both batters converted their starts into commanding hundreds. Tanzid produced a fluent 140 off 151 balls, striking eight fours and seven sixes, while Pritom matched the tempo with 136 from 151 deliveries. Their partnership helped Rajshahi build a strong second-innings total, eventually declaring on 382 for five. Towhid Hridoy remained unbeaten on 38 and Sabbir Rahman on 11.

Dhaka faced a target of 277 but reached only 109 for four before both sides agreed to call time. Anisul Islam Emon top-scored with 44, while Taibur Rahman added 41. Rajshahi’s Nihad Uz-Zaman impressed with figures of 3 for 27, with Sanjamul Islam taking the remaining wicket.

Elsewhere, the match between Sylhet Division and Khulna Division— which began a day later — also moved firmly towards a draw. Sylhet were bowled out for 323 in their first innings after starting the day on 307 for seven.

Khulna responded strongly, finishing on 239 for four. Imranuzzaman hit 59, while captain Mohammad Mithun (53*) and Afif Hossain (38*) guided their side to a 97-run unbroken stand. Earlier, Anamul Haque Bijoy had fallen for 19 after a short stay. For Sylhet, Abu Jayed Rahi claimed two wickets, with Nasum Ahmed and Shahanur Rahman taking one apiece.

Khulna pacer Sofor Ali had earlier taken 3 for 66 during Sylhet’s first innings.
