The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a reshuffle of several committee roles, confirming the changes in a press release on 18 November.
Under the new structure, Rubaba Doula has been appointed head of the women’s cricket wing, replacing Abdur Razzak. Although stepping aside from the top position, Razzak will continue as assistant chairman of the department.
Razzak has also taken on a new responsibility as chairman of the High Performance (HP) Unit, succeeding Khaled Mashud Pilot. The BCB said it expects his experience to help drive greater efficiency and development within the HP setup.
Pilot, meanwhile, has been reassigned as chairman of the board’s Grounds Committee. His new role centres on ground management and infrastructure development—areas the BCB believes will benefit from his oversight.
The post was previously held by BCB president Md Aminul Islam, who had led the committee since the recent board elections. According to the BCB, the reshuffle will allow the president to focus more fully on his broader duties.
The board said the revised distribution of roles is aimed at improving the effectiveness of each committee and strengthening the overall operation of Bangladesh cricket.
