Popular musician Tanjib Sarowar has been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) after suddenly falling ill. His wife, Saba Sanjida Rahman, said the singer was hospitalised due to complications related to high blood pressure.
Concerns about Sarowar’s health spread online after several social media pages claimed he had been admitted to the ICU following an alleged suicide attempt. Saba strongly rejected the claims, stating that the reports were false and misleading.
In a public message, she said that Sarowar had been taken to hospital in an emergency late at night when his blood pressure rose sharply. Doctors later moved him to the ICU for close monitoring and treatment.
Saba added that the musician’s condition has shown signs of improvement with treatment and the prayers of well wishers. She requested that people refrain from spreading unverified information and urged anyone seeking updates to contact the family directly, warning legal action against individuals or pages continuing to circulate false reports about Sarowar’s health.
Sarowar first gained recognition with his debut solo album ‘Andor Mahal’ in 2011. He later released ‘Meghoboron’ in 2014 and ‘Hridmohini’ in 2016. Over the years he has become known for popular songs including ‘Dil Amar’, ‘Megho Milon’ and ‘Gaa Chuye Bolo’.
Tanjib and Saba tied the knot on October 11, 2025. The family has asked fans to keep the musician in their prayers as he continues to receive treatment,
