Designated vice-chancellor of the University of South Wales, UK, Prof Osama Khan paid a courtesy visit to Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan on Monday.
The meeting took place at the DU vice-chancellor’s office on the university campus.
During the discussion, both sides exchanged views on strengthening academic cooperation between the two institutions.
They discussed possible joint academic initiatives and collaborative research programmes involving Dhaka University and the University of South Wales.
Prof Osama Khan invited the DU vice-chancellor to visit the University of South Wales in the UK to further explore areas of cooperation.
Prof Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan thanked the visiting vice-chancellor for the invitation and expressed interest in enhancing institutional ties through academic and research collaboration.
