Sony has launched the Sony Alpha Bangladesh Wedding Studio Alliance, bringing together nine of the country’s leading wedding photography and videography studios in a move aimed at strengthening collaboration, promoting professional development and supporting the long-term growth of Bangladesh’s wedding imaging industry.
The alliance was unveiled at InterContinental Dhaka on Sunday at an event attended by studio founders, photographers, videographers and members of the local creative community.
Sony said it established the platform in recognition of the participating studios’ contribution to raising the quality, creativity and craftsmanship of wedding photography and videography in Bangladesh. The initiative seeks to create a more connected and sustainable professional ecosystem while encouraging knowledge-sharing and collaboration among leading visual storytellers.
The alliance comprises Dream Weaver, Reels & Stories, Reminisce Photography, K Nasif Photography, Chayachobi, SnapShot, ChitroGolpo, Tanvir Ali Photography and Bridal Heritage.
According to Sony, the platform will enable member studios to exchange expertise, develop professional skills and explore collaborative opportunities as they continue expanding creative boundaries and building sustainable businesses.
The company said it remains committed to supporting Bangladesh’s photography and videography community by bringing its latest imaging technologies and strengthening after-sales services for professionals across the country. It said wedding photographers and videographers would have access to products and technical support designed to help them produce higher-quality work for clients.
Sony also encouraged professionals to purchase official Sony products through authorised dealers, saying genuine products can be identified by an official 18-month warranty sticker that provides warranty coverage and after-sales support.
