Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy has suspended all its events and exhibitions for an indefinite period following the death of Sharif Osman Hadi, a frontline fighter of the July uprising and spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha.
The Academy announced the decision in a post on its official Facebook page on Friday.
The post read: “Due to the State Mourning Day and unavoidable circumstances, all events and exhibitions of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy have been suspended from 19 December 2025 until further notice.”
