The Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has dissolved committees of seven units — three upazilas, three municipalities and one thana — in Narail as their terms have expired.
The decision was announced in a press release signed by Narail district JCD President Farid Hossain Biswas and General Secretary Khandaker Mahmudul Hasan Soni on Friday night.
According to the release, Narail district unit of JCD have dissolved the committees of Narail Sadar upazila, Lohagara upazila, Kalia upazila, Narail municipality, Lohagara municipality, Kalia municipality and Naragati thana.
New committees for the seven units will be announced soon, the release added.
