Bangladeshi producer Rhizuti Ahmed Sharna has triggered speculation about a possible on-screen debut after the success of the Shakib Khan-starrer blockbuster ‘Rockstar’, with discussion growing in Dhallywood about whether she will now appear as an actress.
Sharna, who stepped into the film industry as a producer with the megastar Shakib Khan’s recent hit ‘Rockstar’, has quickly become one of the most talked-about new figures in the industry. The film’s commercial success has further intensified attention around her next move.
Following the release and success of ‘Rockstar’, rumours have begun circulating in the entertainment industry and among online audiences that Sharna could transition from behind the camera to in front of it.
Addressing the growing curiosity, Sharna acknowledged audience interest but stopped short of confirming any acting plans. Speaking about her journey, she said her entry into cinema has been a significant new chapter.
“This journey is a new chapter in my life. After being involved with media for a long time, I started working in Bangla cinema, and that too with a megastar. However, the journey of ‘Rockstar’ was not smooth. It was difficult, but it taught me a lot. We are grateful and overwhelmed by the love we are receiving,” she said.
When asked directly about the possibility of appearing as a heroine, she kept the speculation open. “Many people are sharing my interview video and encouraging me to act. Their interest is making me think again. Now let us see where time takes me,” she said with a smile.
Although she has not confirmed any acting decision, Sharna said she remains committed to working in visual media and developing her creative ambitions.
“I believe learning never ends. In the coming days I want to continue working in advertising, films and the creative media space. I want to tell new stories and build new dreams. My main goal is to take Bangladeshi content and cinema to a global platform,” she added.
