Emerging Bangladeshi singer RK Tuhin is working to establish his own identity in the country’s new generation of musicians.
He is now preparing to release 10 new songs, which will be unveiled gradually.
For Tuhin, music is more than entertainment. He sees it as a way to express his emotions, thoughts and creativity.
By writing lyrics, composing melodies and performing his own songs, he is gradually building a distinctive musical identity.
The upcoming collection includes Bondhu, Tomar Hashi, Maya, Joler Sargam, Alo Andhar, Dur Akasher Tara, Meghla Din Rongin, Dari Komma, Obujh Mon and Eka.
Tuhin has written, composed and performed Bondhu, Tomar Hashi and Maya, with Hridoy Hasin handling the musical arrangements.
For Joler Sargam, the lyrics were jointly written by Masum Awal and Tuhin. Tuhin composed and performed the song, while Kawsar Khan handled the music direction.
He also worked with Kawsar Khan on Alo Andhar, Dur Akasher Tara and Meghla Din Rongin. Ziaul Haque Shovon wrote the lyrics for Alo Andhar.
Dari Komma features lyrics by Rafiuzzaman Rafi and music arrangement by Rakib Mursalin. The lyrics for Eka were written by Mahbuba Faruk.
Through the release of these 10 songs, Tuhin hopes to showcase different facets of his musical creativity.
The young singer hopes the songs will connect with listeners and add a new dimension to his musical journey.
He also aims to work on original Bangla music on a larger scale in the future.
