Badhon Sarker Puja is preparing to perform at several concerts in London during the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations.
The singer recently released her new song ‘Nojor Jeno Na Lage’, a duet with Muhammad Milon. According to Puja, the song has already crossed 200,000 views and listens on YouTube.
“Although songs do not get views on YouTube like they used to, this song has reached audiences entirely organically. Many people are also using it to make reels on TikTok. I am overwhelmed by the response and hopeful that the song will reach even more listeners,” she said.
Puja has also recorded a Rabindra Sangeet for Durga Puja, with Tanveer Alam Shawjeeb handling the music arrangement. A music video for the song will be made soon. She has also recorded two new songs with Kazi Shuvo, while another duet with Muhammad Milon is in the pipeline.
The singer remains busy with stage shows. Although outdoor concerts have declined during the monsoon, she continues to perform regularly at corporate indoor events. She recently performed at several programmes in Gulshan and Uttara. She was scheduled to perform at a concert in Khagrachhari on 5 August, but the event will no longer take place after a disagreement with the organisers.
Puja is also planning shows abroad. She recently spent a week in Malaysia for her husband Shubhonkor Sen’s birthday. She is now preparing to perform at several concerts in London during the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations and has already begun the visa process, she said.
